Welcome to the Work at Home Opportunities Blog.  As a mom in a blended family of 5 children, I strongly desire to work from home.  Until recently, “SCAM” was my opinion of work at home opportunities via the internet.  When googling “work from home”  my encounters where only $47 normaly $99.00.  Recently I met a woman who works from home successfully with Arise.com.  In her words “I roll out of bed in my pajama’s and get a cup of coffee, sit down at the computer.  “Good morning, this is Amy, how may I help you?”  

Thus, began my quest for legitimate work at home opportunities.  Currently, I work as a part time book keeper for my father’s masonry business (my office is my old bedroom), and also with a couple of direct sales companies.  I love multiple streams of income.

There is so much to learn on the internet, that it can be overwhelming where to start and you could spend hours upon hours searching sites. Affiliate marketing, applying for jobs online, purchasing how to ebooks (and alot of people are writing ebooks). Some appear to be an actual job, but then you end up spending money.

My goal with this blog will be to help locate legit work at home sites. Network with others, and share.

Right now one of my favorite sites is www.RatRaceRebellion.com  You could spend days there (trust me, I have), swimming in a wealth of resources.   Daily they have new job listings.  They list companies that use telecommuters by categories.  You will even find a website that shows teenagers how to make money using their computer.   Rat Race Rebellion is a fabulous resource for work at home opportunities, yet they take it a step further.  How?  By taking the time to share “Smart Google Phrases”.  Just go to the home page and look under “Rebel by working from home” on the left side.
